In the event of a claim occurring please contact the office first and we will advise you what you should do. A claims handler will be appointed on your behalf.

Policies can differ in terms of their cover. It is important that you read your policy wording whilst referring to you schedule of insurance.

You must contact us immediately. You will be given the advise with regards to your obligations if the property were to become empty & and also advised of the cover should such a change happen. You should also consult the policy wording that will give full details of unoccupancy.

No. Wear & Tear is deterioration. Deterioration can be a result of poor maintenance and is not cover under an insurance policy. Insurance does not come in to force for maintenance, but rather to help you in the case of an insured; peril such as a Fire.

No. We will aim to invite your renewal 21 days before it is due. It is your responsibility to renew your policy unless otherwise advised. You can contact the office on 0208 651 3131 or renew your policy online by clicking on ‘renew online’ on the home page.

This means that you must insure any item to its full value. Failure to do so can result in that item being affected by average. If you were to insure an item for 50% of its total value, and that item suffered a loss or damage, the total amount settled will be reduced by 50% of the cost of the claim.

You can pay by credit/debit card when you call the office or when you renew online. You can pay by BACS if agreed. If you pay by cheque payment must be received before the start of your policy for both renewal & new business policies. Direct Debit facilities are also available.

No. We do not charge for debit or credit card payments.
