No. Wear & Tear is deterioration. Deterioration can be a result of poor maintenance and is not cover under an insurance policy. Insurance does not come in to force for maintenance, but rather to help you in the case of an insured; peril such as a Fire.
No. We will aim to invite your renewal 21 days before it is due. It is your responsibility to renew your policy unless otherwise advised. You can contact the office on 0208 651 3131 or renew your policy online by clicking on ‘renew online’ on the home page.
This means that you must insure any item to its full value. Failure to do so can result in that item being affected by average. If you were to insure an item for 50% of its total value, and that item suffered a loss or damage, the total amount settled will be reduced by 50% of the cost of the claim.
You can pay by credit/debit card when you call the office or when you renew online. You can pay by BACS if agreed. If you pay by cheque payment must be received before the start of your policy for both renewal & new business policies. Direct Debit facilities are also available.
